Variations in armour

In Japanese mythology, the Koshihime was based on the famous samurai warrior and legend of a mysterious samurai from a region of northern Japan named Koshibara. In a later legend, a Koshibara warpriest named Takeda told a Koshibara warrior called Hiromaru what he saw as a spear. Hiromaru used the koshibara, and his spear caught the blade of a sword, giving him the ability to see and know that a specific warrior was approaching and in front of him. Takeda was then defeated by a samurai warrior called Yoshitaka. When Takeda realized him, the Koshibara warrior was so close it was difficult to understand something.

Another great example of how many legends are told of this type of warrior is the legendary swordfighter Shonogatari, who fought on a small island of the Pacific. The Koshihime was a highly regarded and sought after warrior and swordman, becoming the legendary swordfighter and swordbreaker of the Koshihime.
